DJ Willi Will went head first into Dominican culture, and stayed there.

“I felt like I was a part of the music, and this great deal of happiness that people felt when they were on the dance floor relating to the music.”

He names DJ Alex Sensation, DJ Aneudy and DJ Lobo as the people who cut the path. “These talented people have created a stepping stone for many of us that are striving to make it in such a competitive industry. We’ve been given the tools — all we need to do is apply ourselves.”

The Latin market has driven him hardest, but he has pushed well past it and still picks up anything that gets his musical ear going. He works New York, New Jersey and Miami regularly, and his craft has earned him a fixed seat in some of Miami’s busiest rooms — Senor Frogs among them. He was also a resident at the Copacabana in New York.

Festival credits run to the Los Angeles Bachata Festival, the Boston Bachata/Salsa Festival, the NY International Salsa Congress, Myrtle Beach Bachata Congress, DC Bachata Congress and the Connecticut Bachata/Salsa Festival — plus countless Midtown rooftops.

Weddings are on the resume too, and he is among the busiest wedding DJs in New Jersey. You may also catch his son Devinn getting in on the action — his father’s protégé.
