Two residents cover every Wednesday and Friday in New York between them, alternating both nights. Always one of the same two — which is why the room has a sound of its own rather than whatever a guest happens to bring.

DJ Selphi

A bachata specialist and one of the few DJs who produces his own remixes and covers, with music production experience going back to 2004. He came to DJing through dancing — on the floor since 2008 — which is where the ear for what a room actually wants to move to comes from.

Every week he is hunting new songs so the set stays fresh, and working on transitions. He has been with Sensual Movement since 2016 and has played every congress and festival the organisation has run. Usually the first to arrive and the last to leave.

DJ Willi

Deep in Dominican music. “I felt like I was a part of the music, and this great deal of happiness that people felt when they were on the dance floor relating to it.” He names DJ Alex Sensation, DJ Aneudy and DJ Lobo as the people who cut the path.

Latin music drives him, but he plays well beyond it. He works New York, New Jersey and Miami regularly, has held a fixed seat in South Beach clubs, and was a resident at the Copacabana in New York. Festival credits include the LA Bachata Festival, Boston, the NY International Salsa Congress, Myrtle Beach, DC and Connecticut — plus countless Midtown rooftops.
